As far as areas to stay, we suggest Palma de Mallorca as this is close to the wedding venue and lots of surrounding bars and restaurants
Getting there
Flights
As far as flights are concerned, for those travelling from the UK, there are plenty of options. Daily return flights between London and Palma are available from:
Stansted - Ryanair / Jet2
London City - BA
Southend (No flights on Wednesdays) - Easyjet
Luton - Easyjet / Wizz / Jet2
Gatwick - Easyjet
Heathrow - BA
We would advise using Skyscanner.com to find the best-priced flights that fit your schedule.
We’ll be flying to Mallorca on Monday, July 20 and will be staying at the Meliá Palma Marina from Thursday, July 23. From then on, Sarah will be obsessively, if erratically, checking the weather!
We will be flying home from Mallorca on Wednesday, July 29.
Getting around Mallorca
Expect to pay €35-€40 for a taxi from the airport to Palma city centre.
Uber operates in Mallorca but we have been told from our wedding planner that they aren’t easily available. We would suggest using taxis or hiring a car if you would like to travel around the island.
Stay
Meliá Palma Marina
4 Star Hotel - Rooms starting from £166 per night
We would love for our guests to join us in staying at the Meliá Palma Marina during the wedding celebrations. Coaches will be provided to transport guests to and from the hotel and the wedding venue on our special day.
Meliá Hotels has shared a link offering a discount for your stay. However, in true Apprentice style, Courtney has negotiated a rate that’s HIGHER than the hotel’s direct rate when you join their Meliá Rewards programme…
The discounted rate includes free cancellation, but we recommend signing up for Meliá Rewards to secure the best price for your stay.
If the hotel doesn’t suit your plans, you are, of course, welcome to arrange alternative accommodation.
Please note, whichever option you choose, be ready at the coach pickup point on the wedding day so you can be transported to the venue on time.
